Hi guys my friends has got a new ZR1 w/ headers & exhaust sys and he says that he went to the DYNO and make a great 530 RWHP !!!
can I smoke him with my 99 C5 with heads & cam which a make 450 RWHP ???
for a 1/4 mile ???

Depends on how your car is setup, if yo uare both running street tires with stock suspension his car should win. But it depends on alot of things, like drivers as in who can drive there car.

Depends on traction and set up. The 530 might burn em all day while the 450 hooks up like a raped ape. Need more info on both cars

Thats not true, just cause 1 car has more power doesnt mean it will win at all. If that zr1 is on stock rubber he probably wont get out of the mid to high 11s. A 450whp c5 with drag tires and proper mods can go low 11s even high 10s if properly setup.

Uhhm, lets see if you take 530 minus 450 X xsquar minus the square root of speed and factor in the differance of the other, looks like you lose.

You guys jsut assume the car with more pwoer wins? Thats really dumb. We need mroe info on both cars, a 450whp that is setup to hook hard can run low 10s, a 530whp zr1 on stock rubber with stock suspension wont run low 10s.
