Corvette Throttle

Ey guyz, I just bought a 86' Corvette. Now i usually hate those years but after I saw this bad boy for sale, I couldnt pass it up. Beautiful car, everything black from the Paint to the rims. perfectly lowered and Very suprisingly loud. Now it needs a little fixing up and one thing that worries me the most is just recently I started it up to show a buddy how good it sounds, and when i reved it up, it seemed as if it wanted to die or something. THe idle is fine just when i rev it up it starts missing out and almost dies. Now someone recommended me a new fuel pump but I see that you guys really know your stuff so i figured I ask you guys. It would really be appreciated, thanks

Fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure regulator is the easiest and cheapest...start there first.

yeah, start with the basics first......verify fuel pressure and go from there. Also, just catch up on all the general maintenance. Plugs, wires, and things like that.
