    Sadly now demodded :(

Why did the theme from "Deliverance" go through my brain when he brought out the canoe?

I dunno. If my daughter could happily float around in a canoe in the area where I intended to drive my Corvette, I might have second thoughts. But that's just me.

At least the water was below the door sills. Wonder if he hydrolocked it? Or if it just stalled?

Smart people learn from their mistakes, but really smart people learn from other peoples mistakes. Maybe this guy will serve as a lesson to some other knucklehead...

Lets not forget that there was @ least 2 great minds working as none here.. The best idea his neighbor could come up with was a piece of an unfinished stud wall..

Um, clear skies and it was safe on a concrete slab. He could have drove it out in a couple of days

I would have kept it in the pole barn on the concrete then jacked it up on jack stands, there's no way the water would rise this tall
