The 2014 New York Auto Show is just around the corner, and today, we've learned that Chevrolet will have three major debuts in the Big Apple. According to the automaker, Chevy will be bringing "a new variant of the seventh-generation Corvette" to the show, as well as "an important new addition to our small-vehicle lineup" along with an updated 2015 Cruze.

So, what's in store for the Corvette? Mum's the word. We've already been told that there isn't a ZR1 in the works, though an earlier report did hint at a possible hardcore, track-focused Z06X model. Of course, this could also be nothing more than a limited-edition package, a one-off car like the Black Widow that made its debut in Chicago, or a new variant of an already announced model.

On the small car front, we've seen spy shots of what appears to be the next-generation Cruze (pictured below), though it's possible the car we spied was actually a China-only, shorter-wheelbase model. As for the "important new addition," your guess is as good as ours. A previous report suggested that a new Chevy Spark would arrive in 2015, so there's a good chance that a fresh version of that subcompact could take the stage next to its larger Cruze sibling.

In any case, we'll have full details on Chevy's New York spread in the not-too-distant future.
