aqua- 2010 camaro ss
C5 corvette transmission
I have a c5 vette with auto transmission and from 1st to 2nd gear it taking almost 1000 to 1500 rpm more before it shifts. Plus if will hammer it it will hit the rev limiter before it shifts. Any ideas.

any mods to the car??? i would assume it's a band slipping...

Yes there are some mods. Full exhaust and a little bigger cam. When you say a band is slipping do you mean like it fills like its slipping. Because if you get on it it has no problem smoking the tires. It just has delay shifting and I didnt know if a shift soleniod would cause this.
