C5 competition driving trick

i'm not sure if this has been brough up but on C5 vettes their is a trick with the traction control button and i've heard from different people it either modifies the suspension, or bring the engine to it's full potential, or it tweaks the active handeling and traction control i'm not sure ... if you hold the traction control button down for 10 or 15 seconds it bring up competition driving mode

Actually it disables traction control but keeps the computer active so if the car gets out of hand the traction control will kick in! unlike just turning it off and not having a guardian angel!
