I would as long as I still had my suv. Vette is fun buy the back seat and hatch on a TA gives you extra room if you need to carry anything. When I go on road trips I fold my back seats down for luggage space and have the hatch for ttop storage. That is the one reason I liked the fbody over a vette.

Yes. Just sold my 99' SS and bought an 03' Z06. Best car decision I have ever made, so far.

Really you can DD almost anything if you dont get snow in your area. Its about about what you are willing to deal with. There are much more comfy luxry cars to be had in the 15-20k range same price as a c5 vette. Cars with more elcectronics, space, doors, better looking interiors as that matters to some people since you will see it everyday. Its about what you want and are willing to deal with. A friend of mine DDs a turbo stang with a cage and no back seat. His clutch is extermly rough combined with solid motor and tranny mounts make the car hard to drive in stop and go traffic but he does it because he wants to and will deal with it.

To sum it up yes a c5 vette can be an awesome DD if you dont need to drive it in the snow and are willing to make the trade off for less comfort, outdated interior and little storage room for a great performance machine.

I think the interior on a C5 is extremely good if you have good upkeep on it

Then your blind cause that interior was outdated when the car was new in the late 90s and they kept it until 2004. As far as GMs high end performance car is concerned its not anything special interior wise. Im not saying the vette has the worst interior in the world but if you think its good then you must think your camaros is good aswell.

I drive mine to work every day and grocery getter. There is a lot of stupidity that goes on when you drive in bad weather, the belts get wet and squel, the Blackwing gets wet and throws codes. OK if you let her dry out in a heated garage. I don't get caught out like that very often. Only when the weatherman screws up big time.........

My 02 Z has no issues in any weather aside from snow obviously.

I switched from the F-body and never looked back.

Interior is superior to the F-body for sure!

The car and the interior are not long term beat them and last things though. The car has to be respected more than the F-body does if you intend on it being a nice car long term.
