I been trying to get this 35th Anniversary Corvette from my uncle since 2005,he doesnt drive it that much
it has 43,000 miles it has a few months of dirt on it from sitting under the carport,it runs & drives great
a/c,heat and everything else all works great,if i get it what are the issues with this kind of corvettes?

Cool looking car.
There are some things to look for but all in al they are solid cars.
The headlight motors go bad due to the plastic motors. Is it an automatic or a manual? The trannys can be a ticking time bomb if an automatic. First thing to do is to change the fluid and filter if its an automatic.
Lets get some more pics!

Black/ Silver- 98 TA WS6/ 01 C5 Corvette
Another thing to check is the targa top seals, the glue gm used sucked and they have a tendency to start separating at 70mph or so I had an 85 and the top cam close to flying off.

My seals were bad but if you screw it in tightly you shouldnt have any issues.
What rear end is in the car? If its a 2.5x gearing it is most likely a Dana 36 which are not quite as strong as the Dana 44s. I would also change the fluid in that when you get the chance.
