for the first time i'm actually seeing a corvette that i like. it has a "c6 zr1/ferrari/camaro" feel to it. it's kinda like they took some of the best designs of each and found a way to put them together in a coherent manner that borders the edge between "edgy" and "busy." i'm sure corvette purists will despise it.

To me it looks like a Viper from the front and a Camaro from the back. The Viper has that same roofline. I wonder how dissapointing it is gonna be with only 450 horse?

I agree with 1MileCrash. The exterior/interior is too busy. The entire car looks like ass and is a boy-racers dream come true. The digital instrument cluster was cool back in the '90s with the C4s. While I can see why they did the functional hood vent, the vents on the rear quarters are hideous. So are the Camaro-ish tail lights and that stupid handle grip thing near the center console, which the new Viper also just happens to have. The headlights also look like a rip off from the Viper. The entire car screams Euroass inspired and poor mans Ferrari. I'll wait to see the car in person, but from the pictures? Looks like I'll be in the market for a Viper or C6 ZR1.

the one other thing i have to say...i'm pretty amazed at how closely the finished product resembles so many of the rumor mill speculation images that have been out there over the last 6 months.

I like it for the most part. The Camaro tail lights definitely bug me a little, but the rest of the car looks good. Seems to have recaptured the aggressive edge that the C5 had, that was, IMO, toned down a little with the C6. But (modern) Vettes tend to skip a generation with me. I love the C1 - C3, hated the look of the C4, loved the C5, "meh" about the C6, and I think once I see this in person, I'll love the C7. Cant wait to see how they stack up to the Viper.

It reminds me of a lotus Elise, Also the tail lites really blow. Duntov must be spinning in his grave. G M can do better.
