2002 corvette TTMS. how can I fix it?

I just bought a 2002 Corvette. The guy I bought it from just had new tires and tire pressure sensors put on so he says. The car will not read the tire pressure. It just says xxxxxxx? I saw a video on you tube on how to reset them with a magnet and in the fob training area. It did not work. Any time ideas? I bought the magnet off eBay for $20 and it is for tire pressure sensors. Please help

You may need a dedicated TPMS tool for this car. I can check at work today and let you know.

Well, the info I found with our Snap-on stuff, said to go thru your Driver Information Center to get it in the programming mode for the TPMS, and your horn should do a double honk to let you know it's in learn mode. Set your tire pressure all set to spec. Then, use the tool to trigger the sensors, in this order: LF,RF,RR,LR. The tool will trigger the TPMS sensor, it said nothing abouta magnet. I know some Cadilacs use the magnet, and some Chrsylers, but I haven't had a 'vette need one yet. You may try the alternate method for GM, and that would be to enter the learn mode thru your DIC, then let about 8 psi out of your LF and see if the horn honks. Sometimes it takes up to 90 seconds before the brain in the car sees the pressure drop. If so, then proceed to RF, RR, LR and then the horn should double honk again to tell you the learn is complete. This may work for new sensor registration, or it could be that the new sensors are not the right frequency.
