my first corvette was a 1967 conv..427 cubes/435 horses/3-/2barrel carbs.. 7 corvettes later/ that vette, was a brute !! very good power/torque.. newer vettes run much faster /better !!!!! etc. also very rough idle !! luckly to get 100/200 miles on plugs, no unleaded gas in those days /most ran old amaco white gas. high test.. over heating also a problem at low speeds/once melted battery[was in stock location] large factory sidepipes too close..!! best corvettes are newest ones .., by far.. rkvette
