15in draglites still not working for me :( w/pics

Well I finally unbolted the chrome Z06 wheels and tried on my weld draglite 16x9s (5.5BS)with 28x11.5x16s rear and weld draglite 15x3.5s (1.75BS) on. No spacers, no mods, no grinding involved for the rear. I have top and side pics of the rear and shows i have 1in between the front of the rear wheel well with the 28s.
The fronts are completely different story. I have a 2000 FRC M6. Well one fellow member let me know he has a i think a 98 Cpe with welds 15x3.5s on the front. He used 2.5in long studs and a 15/16 spacer. Says the fit no rubbing and stick out slightly past the fender. Well I went with a 1.25in spacer that bolts to my existing studs and has 5 studs of its own. I knew it would be to far out but I had to see how much clearance. Well I'm so FN pissed at this point. The rim hits the outside of the caliper and wont move. Plus it sticks out like a MOFO!!! I took top pics. It sticks out about 2-2.5inches from the edge of the fender. I could honestly deal with it, if it were like .5 in out but not this far. Anyways I finally borrowed a camera put the wheels on and took pics. I'm very happy with the rear. Just not sure what to do about the front. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you find weld draglite 16x9s (5.5BS). The Weld site doesn't list

They are Weld Draglite XP's. They haven't made them in i'd say approx 3-5yrs now. Very nice rim IMO. Really wish I could get ahold of a set of 16x9 XP prostars and sell these. I made everything work on my car finally. Works and looks great IMO.

Thanks. I wish they made 16s also. this way I wouldn't have to grind the calipers.
