    R they about the same?? Just looking at an '06 Z06 on Carmax for $38k with 27k miles on it..Just curious..

    early ones had motor issues... I have seen one spit out needle bearings into the oil pan... the ones that have the smaller capacity will starve of oil in an aggressive corner...

    In 2008 the shift linkage was revised, and the steering is a tab bit better too.
    Not to mention that the center stack (console) is the faux carbon starting in 2008.
    But they're basically all the same.

    may be so,but most records for drags are held by 2006, its the lightest.!!. even lighter than the new zo6/zo7 performance option, wow !! my 2007 is about 30 lbs heavier, than the 2006 model..

    any ls7 in a hpe event without the oil baffle have been known to have catastrophic failure.
    the needle bearing issue is across years 06-07 with i think less than 3 being reported in the 08 years
