how much power loss between a 4L60E and T56????????????

a lot, i think the estime we used when going from crank to wheels on my jeep after the build was 20% or so, but i may be wrong, it has been a year or so

Assuming stock vs stock and you're comparing the diffreence, I read a test somewhere in the numerous LS1 forums that showed 20 rwhp manual gain over A4. Everything changes when you change clutches, stalls, tune shift points/pressures, add shift kits, etc.. Rwhp isn't what counts, ETs are what counts. If you're talking about % loss from the crank HP, I'm not sure. Most posts I've seen claim 12-15% loss on the 4th generation generically.

Rough rule of thumb is T56 loss is about 10% and the 4L60E is around 15%.
