which wire for tac and another question

i bought a 2&1/16 shift light with digital rpm readout and i did a search and know that it is the number 10 white wire..... so which white wire off the pcm is the number 10? which side and where do i start counting, also wouldnt there be a tac wire on the skip shift? could i use that?

Also i got a narrowband air/fuel and i know i know they are only for a hole filler, which is what i got it for for now, I have 02 simulators because of no cats, will it still do anything or should i just not worrie about hooking it up

    sweet dude thanks alot.

    the second question...
i dont have 02 sensors but 02 simulators that trick the computer so it doesnt throw a ses light from my car not having catalytic converters, was wondering if the a/f will still read anything off the 02 simulator since i dont have 02 sensors

    Cutlass is correct

If I understand you correctly... The answer is no. Those o2 sensors you 'tricked' are there/were there just to make sure your Cats were doing their job. Thats it.

I'm trying to wire in my shift lite and this thread has been somewhat helpful, except I'm not sure where this connector is and once I find the #10 wire on the Red PCM do I splice into it or.....? Any help would be appreciated

The PCM has 2 connectors. You want the Red one. The PCM is located under the hood just behind the RF wheel well.

if you remove the connector from the PCM you'll see one is red.
I think Hi-Po answered your O2 sim question??
