window roll down like the 350z and stang
anyone know how to,or has anybody, mod their windows so they come down a inch when you open the door....kinda like the 350z and new stang. It seems like a good way to save wear and tear on the weather stripping.

I've not heard of anyone doing this, but it sounds like it would be tricky.
I was told that the only reason some cars have that feature is so the doors shut easier (relieving positive pressure in the cabin when slamming the door). Our doors are so heavy you have to swing them pretty hard anyways, so it's not a problem. But that's just here-say.

the reason why cars have this has to do with window sealing and new weather strip design in an effort for better fit and finish and wind noise. as far as making this possible in an fbody, i am pretty sure this technology is connected to the nissan and mustangs bcm.

pretty sure new 'vettes do this to so the window can seal under the weather strip, meaning no rain gets in either
