My passagner side window will not roll down any more, or it will roll down super slow and only a inch or 2, then not roll up???
Is that a bad motor?
THe master swicth's do work. And it did roll up and down when I bought it, Then it just slowed down and stoped

the window motor wasn't that much maybe 30 bucks ou just take the door panel off take the motor off the bracket don't take the bracket off the door. the motors held on by 3 tiny bolts. its real easy to get to you'll figure out what to do when you get in there. make sure you wedge your window so it dosn't come down on ya when you take the motor off

Know anything about replacing the gearing in the headlight motor?
It also is making noise like it is stripped out.
I don't know y they put plastic gears in something that will be used all teh time?

I'm replacing my Passanger Side window motor before selling my car next week. My prob is the opposite tho. It goes DOWN not UP! I push UP and it moves 2 inch....then stops. I have to wait aprox 5 mins then I can get it to go up another 2in. Then wait 5 more mins. It takes 1hour and 30 mins to get the window completely up =(
Anyone got any tips at all? Or step by step guide for dummies to fix this? The Pontiac dealer told me $300 to replace the window motor. Fuck that shit!

Consider this, supply proper voltage and extend your motor life.
