You wanna know if a 2000 ypipe will work your 98??
Well I know they are a little bit different and I think it might bolt up ok, but I'm not positive.

The passenger side converter is built into the ypipe on 98-99 like this

2000 to 2002 passenger cat looks like this

K my my 98 only has the mid flowmaster exhaust this guys has a 2000 camaro that is straight through from the manifolds back.
The ypipe has no cats on it
So what im thinking is if the manifolds sit the same they should fit

Oh ok. Its not a stock ypipe. I think its worth a try. But if I'm not mistaken, GM did change the exhaust manifolds on f-bodies somewhere around 2000 or 2001...so it might not bolt on.
If all else fails, you could easily buy a set of the newer, better manifolds cheap from someone here that did headers. Then that ypipe should fit great
