Wiil truck oil pan fit f-body k-member

Will a oil pan off a ls series truck fit in a stock k-member 98+ f-body.
What is the difference in the two?

No there is a huge sump on the truck pan.

+1 No. I have 6.0 truck pan drops way low have to have fbody pan .

I know you can buy some aftermarket oil pans that are larger though....specifically to keep a high volume of oil in the car when getting on the gas, etc.

I was thining the truck pan does in fact fit the F body K-member just fine,,,,,,is this not the original posters question????

Only difference is the deeper sump,,,but it still fits the F-body K-member,,,,,correct???

Ground clearance has nothing to do with whether it fits the car or not....unless some kid got ahold of it and slammed it on the ground. but that still doesn't pertain to the question per say.

Ground clearence is not a problem.i got a 5.3 out of a truck for free and,I'm wanting to put it in a 95 car.
