wierd things with 98 z

I've been driving cars for over 40 years and have never had anything like this happen to me. First the power windows and interior lights quit working. It's a blown fuse, that I replace and it blows out again. Next the right front turn signal blows up, there wasn't any glass connected to the base of the bulb. I replaced the bulb and it is still working. Then the air conditioning quit working, I haven't even looked at that yet. So, what I'd like to know, is there is a common thread to all this or is each problem separate. My next problem I know is seperate. My 12 disc cd changer dosen't realize that there cds in it.

P.S. Have I angered the Camaro Gods in some way?

hey man i know on the cd player sounds stupid but i did it wrong to ut on the disc player the cd's go in upside down

maybe try disconnecting the battery and resetting the computer? I know these cars electrical are finicky and if you blew a fuse it might have altered the system slightly. Worth a try I would say.

well the car is a 98 could just be things are showing their age. LOL

weirs stuff happens in these cars for some reason... Like I was driving down the road came to a stop light and all the sudden my cluster goes completely blank, all guages just stopped working LOL ended up being a fuse as well

The power window runs off a circuit breaker which should reset. But that circuit breaker probablly gets power from a Maxifuse somewhere upstream. So I guess the question is which fuse is blown? Also which interior lights specifically don't work?
The exploding bulb is a seperate issue most likely caused by water in the lamp assembly.
The CD Changer and A/C could be related if it all happened at the same time as the P/windows and interior lights.

Sounds like the car may have had water damage at some time. Just a thought. I hope someone can help.

I agree, I would pull that bulb you replaced out and look at that socket to see if it's rusted. The A/C might just be low on charge and the cd player could be unrelated.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer. I've made a list of all the ideas and will see if I can make some kind of progress on any of these things.
