    Who has their intake off?!?!

Need a dimension from the valley cover to the bottom of the wiper tray/cowl for 98-02 Camaro.

    TIA!

Not to many here have them off.

What exactly are you wanting to do? Are you looking a different intake from the LS1/6, BBK or FAST series?

LMAO....something like that. I've got a Kinsler ITB that measures 8 3/4" from valley cover to the top of the fuel rail. Just want to confirm if I'll get away with shims on the K-member, cut the cowl or both.

Based on the pics I've seen it depends on with stacks you get you may need to cut.

It would be neat to see one have it.

Not that I dont believe you, any chance you can take a pic? Is that under the wiper tray or the leading edge of the flange where the upper and lower meet?

I'll get you a pic. That was just under the cowl, where the upper and lower meet. I did try to get a pic but there was too much glare off of the tape with the flash on my phone.

The pic really sucks, but it just over 8 1/2 to the bottom of the cowl.

    Great! Thanks....

Any chance you measured (or can) the height from at the back of the valley straight up? If you notice under the cowl, there's a "tray" that has to clear the passenger side wiper arm. Might be another inch or so lower....

I have it, its on.....not been done before. Dimensionally, its very close but will require some massaging to work. Trim the wiper tray, maybe a small shim on the K-member.

    Thank-you!

Dynoed three times...three different cams. Last two were 803 and 796 respectively....kept the last one.

Dumb question but where or how is the air filter?

And looking at the pic I think you'll need to do some cowl work and maybe a hood mod to make it fit.
