whining noise 94 z28

my son recently bought a 94 z28 and there is a high pitched whine after it warms up while turning into parking spots or low speed turns like 20mph and under. the first thing i did was check the power steering fluid it was good and had him turn while listening under the hood but no noise. it sounds like it comes from under the car or the back of the car you have to be rolling to here this sound at like 15-20mph while turning the wheel has anyone ever had this prob or know what to trouble shoot next thanks.

This sounds like the same problem I got. Take the fuel cap off and see if you can hear it louder inside the fuel tank (just get your ear close to the fuel tank tube). Also does it happens when you have a full tank of fuel?
If you hear the whine with the fuel cap off then is the fuel pump. Hope this helps.
