while we're on the question of codes

my car threw a 0043 "HO2S heater control circuit low (bank 1 sensor 3 ) what does it mean . the guy at auto zoned told me "ah, its either a o2 sensor or a cat". thanks for the expert advice , the car has 4 o2 sensors and 2 cats. can we narrow it down because if its the cat it still under the extended Chevrolet warranty of 10 years or 100,000 miles. good karma to all that help!

P 0043 is a Generic code that doesnt apply to our cars, Bank 1 Sensor 3 doesnt exist.
    Bank 1 sensor 1&2
    Bank 2 Sensor 1&2
Either way if its an 02 sensor its not coverd under the warranty although if its a cat it is covered.
I would recomend you getting the code scanned again and actualy viewing the scanner and then post up the code..
