    Where the heck is it ?

    Need location of the fuel filter and pump for a 2002 GMC 1/2 ton PU, V6...

    the filter is most likely along the drivers side frame rail. The pump is in the tank.

    It either on the driver frame rail below the driver's door area or it doesn't have a serviceable filter. A lot of GM cars and trucks are eliminating the external fuel filter and now its in the tank and part of the fuel pump assembly.
