Whats the likely cause of P0133?

    Hi guys,

My 2000 TA has suddenly started giving this 1033 code, it seems to be about "slow response" for one 02 sensor. It has WB 02 sensors and many other mods (but not by me!).. I can clear it, but it comes back in a day or 2...

Whats the likely cause of this? -I wondered if e.g. the sensor heater was disconnected it might do this? but surely it can detect that anyway? -Reason I thought that is that I've grounded the exhaust a few times (lowered) & I'm sure the wiring is a bit vulnerable...

-BTW the car has no rear sensors either.. and long tube headers... and a Y pipe... blah blah...

Thanks in advance... BTW the site has been very useful to me so far!

    kr

your car probably does not have rear o2's with headers unless u still have cats just find out which sensor or go ahead and knock out both to eliminate future problems if you still have the o2's from the factory
as far as grounding it you should check up under the car and route the wires above everything so they are not vulnerable to hitting the ground if you do bottom out zip ties hold mine up pretty well

Yeah.. what bothered me was that I can <see> the 02 wiring on the bank 1 side from the side of the car - so it's too low/vulnerable I think, so I wondered if I crunched it when the thing grounded, it looks like it's at the lowest spot, pretty much!

No, no cats for me on this car!
