What's a good deal on a 8K mile 01 Z28?
What is a fair deal on a 01 Z28 with 8,000 miles. KBB shows $13,600 as a retail value and the seller said he turned down $14,500 for the car already. What you guys think is a fair price? The car is a:
01 Camaro Z28
Auto w/3.23
T-tops
Cloth interior
8,000 original miles
1 owner
All stock, no mods

eh hard to say, sucks that he turned down that price, see its nice that it has low miles, but that means it has been sitting a while too.
15k should be a safe price i'd say

It appears the seller is definitely looking for a premium price on his low mileage car. Provided the car was in EXCELLENT shape, I would feel comfortable going to $15K. At least you get the benefits of a lower mileage car. It's also encouraging that the car is bone stock, so hopefully it has had a relatively easy life thus far!

I gave 10.5k for my 99 Z28 with 46k on the odo... All options and leather, rare color too (not that it matters on a Z - No collectors value).. totally stock.. garage kept, owned by an elderly couple that used it for a Summer car.. Better deals are out there IMO
PS.. It took me 9 months to find the one i bought, and i drove about 350 miles.

i did 10.5 k for mine its a 98 SS M6 Vert, it had 64k on the clock, its still worth more than i paid, i'd offer him 14500 again, and if he says no again, go to 14,750 then if he still says no go 15 and if he doesnt like that tell him "money talks, bullshit walks"

I'd do it, Finding a decent low mileage ls1 is getting somewhat rare, people are using them as DD and so forth. I paid around 19k for my 01 SS about 3 years ago with 2 thousand miles on the clock.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....
