Whats A 2000 Ss Worth?? Help??

NEED HELP DECIDING TO PURCHASE OR NOT!! its a 2000 SS , artic white, 6 speed, Zr1 wheels ,143k, with SALVAGE title, hit in pass front, didnt pop air bags though, he asking 4500.00 is this a good price or should i let it go, with the miles and salvage title,??? need help soon supose to buy it 2 day. cit needs rear brakes, tires, radio in loc mode, just what ive seen so far,

WOW let it go it has 143 thousand miles , that all i need to know to pass , when was the motor rebuit ? tranny ? Rear end ? and then a salvage title , has long ago was it involed in the accident ? if it had a salavge title since 2000 and he has been the driving it since then i would say i guess it is ok if he had the car for less the a yr with a salvage title run away

no past history idk , its on a cat lot , and a mexican lot at that, cant really get no info?? lookd like motor has never been out, still runs strong, its just been fixed i think, so you dont think it would be worth 4500.00 to play with? whole car was painted recently, still has overspray on it, hate to invest 4500.00 in a 2500.00 car. any more advice or opinions???? thanks for all responces!!!

I wouldn't worry about milage as much if it was a clean car. But salvaged ? scary

Yea the miles aren't a problem if it runs strong...but you don't know about the frame being straight or anything like that. The only thing I would be worried about is the Salvage title.

I haven't seen the car so I really couldn't say, if you like projects and enjoy fixing up cars and that sort of thing then maybe you should think about getting it. I just don't have any idea what kind of shape the car is in.

yea had all intentions of going to get it 2 day, thought it was a deal, for the way it runs and i just sold a 94 g.t with a salvage title for 4300.00 that wouldnt touch it.
