what is your top speed on 3rd gear?

around 6k rpm or 6500 rpm what would be your best on 3rd gear?

Your gearing is higher (which is a lower number).

Once I put in the 4.11's with the new rear end that number will be lower.
Should be around 96 MPH with the new gears, 6700 RPM's, and 26" tall tires.

Per the calculator I used, stock is actually 106 MPH with 3.42 gears and 6200 redline on a 6-speed LS1 F-Body.

I had 3.73 in my 95 z and it was to tall so I just installed 4.10s and I am happy with them. I still cant use 6th gear unless Iam going over 65mph. so you will still have plenty of top end.all so Iam running 18" wheels.....

Even with my 4.11's and stock size tires 4th gear will still go to 124 MPH or so.

Autos are better suited with the 3.73's though.

idk even with 4.10's you could still put her into 6th if you needed to race on the highway no? or would that just not pull at all really well not enough for racing i guess idk

110mph in third for my stock SS. Planning on 4.10's in the near future though.

A highway run or two isn't a big deal in 5th.

Normally though, you don't want to race in any gear above your 1:1 gear...in our case that is 4th.
Don't want to be shifting into 5th racing. It is an overdrive gear, not meant for racing or taking hard shifts.

i loved my 410 's when i was going light to light...but with stock cam it needed more rpm... then when you try to get on it on the freeway it felt like something was wrong, i hated it... now i like my 373's but would the 410s pull harder with a big ass cam..

90 mph in 3rd gear for me is 6624 rpm with 4.33 gears with a 315/35R17 nitto out back.
