What size cats?

Hey guys I have a stupid question to ask. I just put pacesetter lt and ofy onto my car. I now want to add converters if the ofy is 3" what do I need for cats and what is a good brand? was thinking magnaflow?

I like random tech. cats, Your ory is a 3inch pipe so just make sure you get 3inch cats, Are you gonna bolt them up or have someone weld them?

what do you suggest? will I have to cut the y-pipe oe will the go right on?

We always welded cats at the muffler shop. Too much heat for clamps I think is the reason.

If you have no desire to run catless ( at the track) then have them welded in. Several header companies make Y's that have cats you can take out and replace with off road pipes so maybe you can have a shop fab you up a set like that. Definitely will cost more but then you have the option of running them or not.
