    What parts will I need?

When I bought my SS someone had pit a aftermaker door lock system in it. Well now I want to do it factory, so what parts do I need to buy ( I have the wires in the doors, not hooked up) I know I will need key fobs and not sure if I need only actuators or both the latch assembly and actuators for each door. Right now it is 5 wire system from Commando.

You don't need to change the actuators, unless you don't have any for some reason.

You'll need to get the key fobs programmed for your vehicle and unwire the old alarm system.

That should be it, unless they've butchered your wiring or tampered with anything else.

Out of curisity, why do you want to get ride of the aftermarket alarm system?

unless you are having issues with it i won't mess around with it if they butchered the wires. if you mess the wires up you could be having more headaches. If they didn't butchered the wires you probably have to re installed the OEM wires and unhook the alarm starter killer wire and put it back OEM.

Do you have any schematics from the current alarm system?

Next question, if this car did not have factory door locks will I need a new BCM?

Why would someone have removed the locks? Do you have shaved doors?

Wait...are you saying the previous owner converted from manual locks to a power lock/remote keyless entry system?

If you were to go OEM, you will need:

    BCM
    Fobs
Door panels from a power-equipped Camaro
    Wiring harnesses
OEM master switch assemblies for the doors
    Actuators for both doors

That's what I thought as well...unless there was an option that wasn't requested by many SS owners.
