What is this part called and where can I order one

The rubber hose attaching the air lid assembly to the throttle body on my '98 Trans Am is cracked. It's stock and I'm not interested in upgrading, so I need OEM, but I can't find it on parts sites. That's mainly because I'm a doofus and I don't know what it's called. Little help?

That just took me to the site I've been searching. Your specific link just brings up the seach box for me. I don't find anything called "bellow", and anything that sounds similar (duct, etc.) comes up zilch. Thanks though. I'll keep looking.

I bid $10 (plus $6 s/h) on a used OEM part. The "buy now" price was $19.95. I'd pay $26 if necessary, but we'll see if I can get it for $16 shipped. Thanks.

The cracks in mine are tiny and I only drive it a short distance back and forth to work. (1998 with 92,000 miles). Who knows how long the cracks have been there, but am I likely to be causing damage by continuing to drive it? The cracks are on the "peaks" of the peaks and valleys of the accordian shape, so since it's not under vacuum, it shouldn't be pulling in much, but of course this is after the filter.

Here was details but could not find part number.

    Duct - 8 cylinder, 1998-02 - 8 cylinder, 1998-02
    98-02 MSRP$40.63 Your Price$24.93

Found it by going to 2002 camaro and then engine and air intake then choosing outlet duct and looking at illustration cause if you go straight to duct it takes you to a V6 one.

I'm not put out for $25, but I will see how the eBay bid goes first. Thank you all very much!

After further investigation, I suppose it could be a rodent that caused it. If so, it chewed a very tiny bit. It took less than a millimeter off the top of the peaks/ridges, and only about 1" long in 2 places. I suppose it could still be cracks, but the rubber otherwise looks healthy. I guess I'll find out when I disassemble it.

Once you get the replacement, before you install it, spray a light coating of silicone spray on it to keep the bellows flexible.

Yeah, I used to keep the engine bay pristine, but I've really let it go (as far as appearances). I'll certainly do that.

    Heheh...tell me about it.

Other than taking care not to touch/mar the MAF screen and using caution when removing MAF sensor, anything else I should watch out for? I figure it should only take 10 min.

While you have the MAF out, get a can of CRC MAF cleaner and spray the MAF out.

Hmmm....I was hoping I wouldn't have to completely remove the MAF. I thought I could just pull the air lid forward and just replace the bellows without having to disconnect much else.

Meh. It's simple. Just unplug, spray, let dry, then reassemble.
