What the heck is this noise???
Hi everyone. I have this weird issue. If I rev the car to about 4500 rpm's, I hear this really loud noise that almost sounds like a tire when doing a burnout. At first, I thought I was just breaking the tires loose, but if I rev the motor when I'm not moving, I hear the same noise. I checked under the hood for anything out of place and what I did find was a big chunk of my power steering pump pulley broken off. Could this be what is causing this noise? I am hoping that it's just the belt making noise from the broken pulley at high rpm's.

slipping belt due to the pulley. Replace that pulley before you go into a turn and lose your power steering.
