what to get for 1 grand
ok so i have about 1000 bucks to work with, what is the best thing i can do performance wise for my 02' z28?

Midnight Blue- 2000 Camaro Z28
depends...you could go the nitrous/LT headers route or...
camshaft/springs/LT headers if you're going engine mods.
if you want a better hooking and stiffer ride; lower control arms, shocks, tires, shifter (if 6 speed), torque converter (if auto). kinda pick what you want for a grand out of those...

Its stock, accept for the free ram air mod, a ported maf, a flomaster muffler, and a k&n air filter.

Im trying to figure it out, why would the exhuast cut out mess with the tune just curious because im going that route. Cant a tune take into account the mods you have for your car?

I may be wrong but I don't think a cut out would mess wit you're tune as long as its In the intermediate pipe after you're rear o2s
