What floor mats or covers do you use

Are there any good rubber floor mats out there made for, or that fit, a 02 trans am. My factory mats are carpet on top, rubber on the bottom...but they don't seems reversible as the floor is an odd shape and they seem fitted. What kinda rig does everyone use to keep the carpets clean and dry if you happen to have a lot of dirt in your local parking lots or driveways.
Should I just pick up a set of regular generic rubber floor mats or is there a better option with better coverage and more of a fit out there?

Mine didnt come with OEM mats so I got some cheap ones from Pepboys. They clean up nice and easy (even with a lot of dirt), but as you can see its down to the rubber where my foot goes. These pics are kinda old too. Its worn even more now.

Seriously though, I don't know how you boys survive with carpeted mats. Carpet, anywhere in a vehicles interior, ranks amoung the greatest of all automotive evils in my book. It collects and hold dirt like a magent and anytime your feet touch it the dirt clouds up and covers the rest of the interior....even if your meticulous about your cleaning and just had the interior freshly shampooed that carpets will still do it to you the minute they are dry again. ... grumble...grumble...

On a side note, has anyone ever replaced thier carpet with something else? I once thought about taking a razor to it and shaving it as short as possible and them putting on a thin coat of "rhino lining" (supposed to be tough as hell and flexible) But it seemed like an impossibly difficult task and no one in my area does that kind of spray on lining work.
