I have had 4 t-top cars 89,92,95,and current 01 always used "black magic". Safe to use on all rubber, plastic etc. Lasts quite long too.

You can buy spray silicone at any auto parts store... may even have it at Walmart. Spray liberally on a clean cloth and wipe down all your T-top, door and hatch seals.

Don't use baby oil. It's just scented mineral oil. It will make your car smell. You could probably just pick up some mineral oil somewhere else. Maybe an autobody store.

I use GM Dielectric Silicone Grease part #12345579. It was around 10 bucks a small tube at the local Chevy dealer. I'm pretty sure it's specified in the owners' manual, that's why I got it.

You can also use it inside the spark plug boots, and on the door seals.

Yep. It is in the owners manual. But you can buy the same thing, but cheaper (the "generic equivalent") at your local auto parts store. I've been using it since '98 on tops, door seals, etc., with great results.
