    What does this bracket do?

    Look at the picture of bracket that I have as my profile pic.I forgot to put this back on when I installed my intake manifold bolts in rear on LS1.Does this actually do anything like a spacer,etc?Meaning does it absolutely necessary to go back on???

    Is that for the secondary air solenoid and diverter valve?
