    What to do now guys?

    Hi guys, I have a 2000 T/A ws6 M6... Here are my mods

    SLP lid w/ k&n
    Pacesetter LT's
    Pacesetter y-pipe
    SLP Lm1 exhaust
    LS7 clutch, Ls2 flywheel combo
    NGK TR55IX plugs
    MSD wires
    Motive 4.10 gears
And had it tuned by Sam at quality custom racing in OKC..

The car runs good but I want more... I ran a 13.30 at 109.5 mph with a crappy 2.250 60' at 90% humidity..

What else is there left to do to a "bolt-on" car.. I would like to upgrade the intake and throttle body, but I plan on going heads and cam, so if I bought a 90mm TB and 90mm FAST, it would probably just slow me down right now until I did a cam... And if I bought their 78mm system it wouldn't be as effective when I do H&C.. So give me some suggestions guys! I just want more power

Lol yes, I have thought about that, actually thought about it very seriously... But I would rather have the power rather than spray it to have power

Still would like to upgrade the bolt-on car at the moment though... I would then need a 12 bolt, and all the works

The spray is a great power adder. And NO you don't "need" a 12 bolt etc to support the nitrous.

The LS6 intake would be a good mod, you'd probably pick up about 25-30hp. Past that I'd say work on a good driver mod! With 4.10s you should be pulling a MUCH better 60'...

I would get a rear, Moser 9 inch maybe, steel driveshaft, a real clutch and a set of drag rims. IMO all this should be done before swapping internals like the cam/heads. Nothing lamer to me than seeing a 12 second head/cam car cause the guy can't launch it right.

A six speed car needs at least a 12 bot to do drag racing on sticky tires period. And 30 hp from an LS6 intake?

Thought I'd read that # somewhere for the LS6 over the LS1... perhaps I'm wrong?

And like hell you NEED a 12 bolt to drag race on sticky tires. I was cutting 1.7 60's on my stock 10 bolt and Nitto 555RIIs last summer spraying 150HP right out of the gates on my M6 which is also running a stock clutch...

Guess we're both guilty of speaking out of our asses!

I'm not speaking out of my ass. Your lucky. If you haven't broken it yet, your not launching hard enough. Do you drop the clutch at 6,000+?

    LMAO, obviously I didn't need to drop it @ 6K! I'd say 1.7 60' isn't bad for launching @ 2400.

He asking how to get the most out of a bolt on car. Launching at 2,400 on stock size drag radials ain't the answer imo.

The OP wants additional bolt on power. Only major addition he's missing is an intake (since he already stated H/C isn't an option yet). Suspension work would be wise indeed. I added SFCs, LCAs, and a STB before I took the car to the track on the spray.

If money is no object, by all means DO the axle work because no matter what its only a matter of time if you plan to keep going faster before it goes south on you. But you can "run what ya brung" until then and work on adding power now.
