What could rattle inside the car? Passenger side rear....
I thought it was the spare tire so I took it out and the rattle is still there It picks up at around 25 mph and up, it's def. inside the car and is a real light rattle, but still 100% annoying. Any suggestions?

I have the same thing...happened when I replaced the passenger side rear parking light, I was thinking it's the spare also since I had to remove it. I reseated the spare and it still rattles...maybe it's the jack

Severe---nope my jack is out too, going for the 15 lb. weight reduction It's not that either, it's driving me freaking nuts, it's the rattle that I hear but no one else really notices. At above 50 mph it's really annoying

Bright Silver Metallic- 2000 Formula
check to see if your sensor for the stock alarm is just floating around back there, its not very big and plastic so it could be bouncing around in there maybe

That could be it. I heard the same noise and it drove me crazy for about three months and just happened to be changing a flat one day and had that cover off and noticed the wire just dangling. Tied it off and no more noise.

Similiar problem
I have 2000 Z28, My driver side would make a noise as I went down the road, I had a buddy sit in the back and he pinpointed it to the upper shock area. I was under the car one day and as i lifted, by hand, the rear end under the shock mount I would hear a slight ping from the shock. didnt take much to make the noise. I replaced the shocks and that cleared it up.
it was a high pitched ping but not a loud ping. but it drove me absolutetly batsh*t.
hope you find it.

Ok just to update. I went out and tied the speaker wires together tight, along with the plastic connectors behind the rear pass. panel. Also one thing that stuck at as a potential problem was the rear defroster piece on the rear windshield. It has a little black plastic piece that moves a tad over the wire that runs into the windshield, so I tightened it up real good and hit it with just a drop of glue to hold it in place. I'll report back tomorrow night after ride to and from work
