Weird issue with 98 SS

The problem is: I can set the cruise control and it will set, but will not accelerate. If I reengage it, it will not take me back up to my set speed nor will it accelerate going up hill. This problem just showed up anyone have any ideas?

might be something to do with your mods?

I've had the mods for months now and no problems, till yesterday. Also it's an A4 with traction control.

I wonder if your vacuum canister is working correctly? I've never looked at the cruise on the f-body but would assume they all work pretty much the same. There's a vacuum canister that operates the cruise cable. Kind of like the old push button 4x4's on the blazers. Sounds like that canister or cable is messed up somewhere.

I know the cable is working ok, because there is only one cable on my SS since it has traction control. The one cable does the cruise control and normal throttle operations.
