    Weak Horn

    I dont know about you guys... but the horn in my 98 T/A is
    really, really pathetic.... anyone ever replaced one ? p.s. where
    the hell is it ?

    Yeah, mine, too- they are up underneath the right front fender liner, like where the back of the fog light would be- I need to at least intall dual horns there-

    Do you know if they are the disk type or the horn type ?

    Horn type. Low note and high note. I got mine at Pepboys and they are exactly the same as the factory replacement. Made by a company named "Fiamm" or somthing like that.

    thanks man..... just got back from snaggin some.... got the
    extra loud 'roadblaster' 132 db. ones... ill admit.. I have not
    looked that good , but when you took yours out did you do it
    from the top or bottom ?

    Glad to help. Like Vollybill said, from the bottom right front, same door you use to change your daytime running light bulb. You need a 10mm socket or wrench to to remove the screws to the door. Also, both horns have a two prong plug on the end of it's wire that match up with a plug on the actual horn, otherwise you'll have to do a little "cut & splicing"....

    thanks.... sounds easy enough.... I will let you guys know if the 'extra loud' horns are loud enough to scare old ladies.....

    Mars is replacing his original 2 horns on his T/A with some "extra loud" ones. I was telling him he may have to do some "plug splicing"....
