    Water pump going out

Where is the weep hole on a 99 ls1 water pump behind the pulley? Looks like its ending up on the front of my oil pan and when i turn on my car the low coolant light comes on then if I turn it off then back on no light WTF. I'm sure its not oil I do also have an oil leak but I didn't put green oil in it. It looks wet under the pulley but I can't see the weep hole.

The weep hole can be hidden under the pulley. As for the low coolant light, those are less the accurate on a good day, But it does sound like your water pump is leaking.

yep, weep hole is back there. Pump is probably starting to fail. Pretty easy job to do.

If water is coming out of your weep hole then the seals inside the pump have failed, its time to replace, like orion said its a simple straight forward job..

It'll only take like ten minutes to change that thing out. You'll spend more time running the air out of the system than you will replacing the pump. Mine did the same thing when it went out. WAY easier than the LT1 in my old Formula.
