Black- 2000 Camaro SS
What about a Camaro SS?

My vote is for the T/A. There's not a meaner looking car on the streets IMO. I also like the looks of the LT1 Camaro's but it needed the LS1.

its your $$ get what you like but i say get anything with an LS1. There is nothing wrong with an LT1 but if you can afford it an LS1 is the way to go. The LS1 more power and you will see more gains out of an LS1 than an LT1 from mods.

see i was mainly wondering if the camaro handled like the T/A?? bc ive driven an ls1 T/A but not a Camaro.. and i was wondering if the camaro had the "tight" feel..

yes a T/A and a camaro handle exactly the same provided you are comparing the same cars: LT1 camaro handling = LT1 T/A handling and LS1 camaro handling = LS1 T/A handling.
An SS will handle better over a Z28 and a WS6 will handle better than a regular T/A

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
They are almost identical cars when it comes to driving them. It's mainly the appearce that makes them different. I just don't like the bug eye head lights and the grill of the ls1 camaro's; I think they look to much like a sebring. I hate the pop up head lights at night on the T/A also. So which ever one that has less things that you don't like is the way to go. Either the ls1 T/A or lt1 SS are my favorite apperance wise.

in my opinion the trans-am feels like I'm driving the Batmobile- I don't feel that way in my Camaro. We had one in the shop one day a few years back, and a co-worker said that at the same time I did right after I had test drove the car for the alignment I just did. He had driven the car a half hour before me. I didn't get in the car thinking this way at all-it was the first time I had driven a Trans-am. The Camaro always outsold the Pontiac, so maybe resell values might be a concern. I'm sure the Trans-Am diehards will be barking along shortly..........
