    warm up

if you crank your car up from stone cold, how long does it take to get up to enough temp to blow hot air, and idle normally? at lets say 60-70 degrees.

thanks guys. man my truck takes forever to warm up. i am talkin 10-15 minues. thats pretty bad. my dads acura is awesome. he cranks it on, lets it idle for about 20 seconds, then by the time we pull out of the neighborhood, it can already blow hot air, and temps are up nicely. and then stay parked right there. all the time.

i mean i am not blowing HOT air but its warm. 10-15 isnt a bad time to get hot hot air out, if you are sitting straight idle, esp. witha truck, My DD is a 93 buick century and that thing gets the heater going way faster than my Trans am. depends on the car , the size, and area that the air has to move through
