    Visor bracket

My visor just dropped into my lap the other week. The bracket broke from the mount. So, I bought a new bracket.

Should I use a little grease before I put the visor on the new bracket or will that make it too loose?

Never mind. I decided not to use any. Works fine.

    Fixed one of mine too.

Used a self tapping screw with a washer & it's been good for about five years now.

I've fixed both visors in both of my Camaros using that method. Easy to do and stronger than OEM.

As I recall, it took about 20 minutes for each visor. What else were you doing in that 1.5 hours? Well, I guess doing it late night might take longer. Add in a beer or two and that makes sense. Good job.

Took maybe 2 minutes. Three screws. Done.

Yes, maybe two minutes to re-install the repaired visor assembly by turning the three screws of the bracket into each place overhead. But it takes more than that to first remove the bracket, then repair the assembly before re-installing it.

Heh... New bracket only cost $20. $20 plus two minutes = WIN
