Exclamation valve gasket leak on drivers side.. help

Hey guys im new here and im a bit of a bind right now and I need a little advice on my ls1.
ive got a valve gasket seal leaking on my drivers side pouring smoke.
Ive talked to a few shops about this and none of them have given me a direct answer, I just need a rough estimate on parts and labor. I drive a 2000 ls1 Camaro with 225000+ miles on it. anything helps. thanks again guys.

A new gasket is pretty cheap and if you're halfway decent with a set of tools you could easily do it yourself. That's assuming you mean valve cover gasket and not valve seals.

Valve cover gaskets run about $18 ea and a new valve cover (in case yours is warped) runs about

    00' + LS1 Valve Cover (drivers side) Part # 12582224 GMPartsDirect $69.75+shipping
    00' + LS1 Valve Cover (passenger side) Part # 12570427 GMPartsDirect $97.35+shipping

Now I got mine new on ebay for $50.

Also Nate I live next door in Loxley, AL.

PM me your number and I can talk direct with you about other possibilities as to what it might be maybe come and look at it.
