turbos

so i saw a ws6 today that had a rear mounted turbo and had the air box in the rear. there were 3 pipes under the car. i fugured that part out but i was seeing if anybody could clear it up. to me a rear mount turbo doesnt seem that good. i was wondering what the pros and cons of a rear mounted turbo are compared to a regular under hood turbo

No heat under the hood cools off a lot faster ,you don't have to idle down for any period of time.[no cooling off period] I've read some testimonials and they love em.
