tune up?

ok so i'm on the process of doing a tune up on my car's. My 02 camaro z28 M-6 with 83k is almost done the only thing that i have not done is the break fluid and the trany fluid. Is it ok for me to change the trany fluid I have herd that is bad to change it?

also on my 01 trans am with 140k, should i be using 10w-30 now since is a high millage car? of course is mobil 1. and should i change my trany fluid (is a A-4) i'm kinda scare two.

On the A4, a fluid and filter change is required maintenance. Very easy to do with the exception of removing the filter seal from the valve body. That can be a bit tricky without the appropriate tools.

so then the mileage does not matter? i should go ahead and do it? I mean i check the fluid wen the engine is hot and at idle, and the level is fine and color as well.

what about on my M-6? the motor has been out but i'm not sure if they change the trany fluid, i'm guessing they did cause it would leak out wen they take the drive shaft of rite? either way i just want to do it to be and the safe side. I'm just not sure if it's save to do it on it?

I change all the fluids in all our cars -- manual or automatic and have never had an issue.
