I haven't broken into the engine yet so I can't help you with the cam. They are a great bunch of guys on here somebody will reply. Sooner or later you're gonna have to go through the induction & exhaust though.

Do you have a lid yet? If not get a lid (any other brand than SLP). Is your car an auto or a stick? If its an auto a stall converter should definately be the next thing to get. After that then a cam, LS6 intake and a tune. You already have longtubes so these that would be the next things to do. You should be making great power with those. I love my TR 224 but that is because its the only cammed LS1 I have driven. I have friends with bigger cams but they set there cars up for pretty much off the line (big stall) near drag only and I wanted something friendly for the street. Maybe a pulley if you have money left over. LS1howto.com has a great write up on how to do a cam swap if you dont know how. Good Luck.

a lid is a lid...brand doesn't matter. Get the lid, exhaust, SFC's, stall, ls6 manifold, port your TB, 3.73 gears if you have the 2.73's, tune
