Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS
Trading in
If I trade in my 2000 SS at a dealer, do I need to go back to stock or can I leave the FLP's on?

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS
Sorry, that's rather an incomplete post....
Life dictates that the Camaro be replaced by an SUV. My SS has 135,000 miles on the odo. I've removed all the mods except the FLP's, which have about 125,000 miles on them. They rattle on the floorboard and can be quite annoying. My neighbor told me that since the car has over 100,000 miles the dealer can't sell it on their lot. They'll sell it over to some small used car lot. And since they're not selling it on their lot, they won't care if it has some mods on it.
I am all for not spending an afternoon on my back in my 100+ degree garage but if the longtubes have to come off...so be it.

I would pull them and sell them. That's easy money IMO. Do they have to come off? No. Should they come off? Yep. That's like throwing a few hundred dollars away. If I were closer I would trade you my stock manifolds and pull them myself. I'm sure if you post up someone local would give you a few bucks for them and pull them for you.
