Sebring Silver Metalic- 2002 Camaro Z28
Towing question, don't hate me.
Ok, by now you're probably already shaking your head in disgust, but please give me a chance.
My son races in the all American soap box derby. I can't afford a second car/truck and I don't want to give up the Z.
Has any one installed a small trailer hitch on a camaro? I just want to pull a small trailer (open lawn style) with his car. I'm the only one out of three dozen or more that shows up in a car. Every one has big trucks or SUVs and fancy covered trailers, just jealous.
I have no idea if, where, how, or what for the install. I know that muffler is back there, but have no idea if this can be done. I haven't taken a look under there, yet.
Thanks
kool-aide

np, no worse than my typing. Thanks. I found the artic white camaros unite. I sent a message to the guy with the pic pulling a fishing baot out of the water. Thanks. I hope this works.
I currently shove the car in the back and bungee cord the lid shut. It is a pain picking that sucker up and into the back. A real back breaker.
BTW, I like the strips. I'm not a big fan of white. My brother is. But I have to say the artic white camaros look stunning, real drop dead.

i'm surprised they never made a yellow, like the GTO yellow jackets or firebird special editions.
white is a nice color for accents and effects. there is a 98 z28 artic white M6 for sale where i live. If mine was paid for i would swoop down and nab it in a sec. It has been cleaned up real nice, just ithcin for something special to make it stand out.
oh well i don't have the midas touch or winning loto numbers

Hell, for that kind of money, why don't you just rent a truck for that day, or for a couple days.

Haha this is random but my dad used to tow a boat with his 1970 camaro. He said that car had more balls then mine does

true for that cost i could rent a truck, a couple of times. I shopped around and found draw-tite hitches as low as 130. Of course you still have to pack on the receiver, electric, ball, blah blah. still for less than 200 i could have a permanent solution to our derby woes. It sure beats cramming the car in the back seat and having the rear half open.

it's cool having a place to go for support, and friendly ribbing. i've found lots of ideas, help, and funny as heck stuff.
it will probably be a week or so. i'll have to remember to take pics.
